In the making of the Drinna Dress
Creating the Top Part
To create the top part, newpaper pieces were cut, and then pasted together using a mixture of white glue and water in equal parts.
It was created over the model, to make it fit perfectly. The model had to be wrapped up in plastic so that she wouldn't get dirty. And on top of the plastic, the top was created.
Para crear la parte de arriba del vestido, se cortaron pedazos de periódico,y después fueron pegados usando una mezcla de pegamento blanco y agua en partes iguales.
Se creó sobre la modelo, para que estuviera justo a la medida, La modelo tuvo que ser envuelta en plástico para que no se ensuciara y encima del plástico se creó el top.
Drying up the Top
To accelerate the process of drying, a hair blowdryer was used every time a layer was finished.
Para acelerar el proceso de secado, se usó una secadora de pelo cada vez que se terminaba una capa.
Creating the Bottom Part/ Creando la Parte de Abajo
To create the bottom part of the dress, many plastic bags were tied up together, making five layers of bags to make the bottom part long enough.
Para crear la parte de abajo del vestido, se ataron muchas bolsas de plástico, haciendo cinco capas de bolsas para hacerlo lo suficientemente largo.
Creating The Final Touch/ Creando el Toque Final
To create the final touch of the top part of the dress, a piece of carton was cut in a particular shape, and then filled up with pieces of Cds.
Para crear el toque final de la parte de arriba del vestido, se cortó una figura particular de cartón y después fue llenada con pedazos de discos.
